Educator Carl Lashley holds a New York State Administrator License, a Master's Degree in Education, and a Master's Degree in School Administration and Supervision from the New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE). With years of service in various roles—teacher, instructional leader, and administrator—in Bronx community schools, Carl has dedicated his career to enhancing academic performance and fostering social awareness in underserved communities.

Throughout his tenure, Carl has worked tirelessly to address the challenges faced by students, including limited resources, always believing that with the right strategies and support, students can achieve extraordinary success both academically and socially. This belief inspired the creation of his company, Great Leaps Inc., founded on the core principle that every student has an inherent right to learn and succeed.

As Executive Director of Great Leaps Inc., Carl provides visionary leadership, oversees organizational management, and drives program development. In partnership with the Board of Directors, he evaluates and shapes the company’s initiatives to ensure maximum impact. Great Leaps is also proud to collaborate with R&R Media Services, creating a clear academic pathway for Bronx high school students, guiding them from secondary education to enrollment in both public and private colleges and universities.
